UC Clermont Offers Merit Scholarships for 2018 High School Graduates
UC Clermont College is offering Merit Scholarships to all 2018 high school graduates who meet the criteria.
The high school class of 2018 must apply and confirm admission for the fall semester by May 1 to be eligible for a Merit Scholarship.
The colleges Merit Scholarship funds are automatically awarded to 2018 graduates have a high school GPA of 3.5 or higher and a minimum composite ACT score of 22 ($2,500) or a high school GPA of 3.0 or higher and a minimum composite ACT score of 20 ($1,500). Full-time in-state tuition at UC Clermont is $2,658 a semester.
Students who enroll on a part-time basis (611 credit hours per semester) will receive 50 percent of the scholarship amount. Award amounts will be calculated using non-weighted high school grade point averages. Test scores and grades reported to UC Clermont as of May 1, 2018 will be used to determine the non-renewable scholarship awards, and scholarships are divided between fall and spring semesters.
The Merit Scholarship rewards incoming UC Clermont students for their hard work throughout high school, said Dawn Hundley, associate director of UC Clermont One Stop Student Services, which oversees financial aid and registration. It also helps set them up for success in college by helping to meet their financial needs.
