College of Medicine Holds Annual Postdoc Forum
The Office of Research and Graduate Education at the UC College of Medicine will hold their annual Postdoctoral Fellows Research Forum on Friday, May 9. Judging of the posters will be held from 10 a.m. to noon, with public viewing from 1:30-3 p.m. A reception and poster awards program will be held from 4-5 p.m. Judging, public viewing and poster awards will be held in the atrium of the Cardiovascular Research Building.
Barry M. Gumbiner, PhD, professor and chair of cell biology at the University of Virginia, will deliver the keynote address titled "Cadherins and Catenins in Development and Cancer" at 3 p.m. in room 2351 of the Medical Sciences Building.
