Keck Named President, CEO of Craig and Frances Lindner Center of Hope
CINCINNATIPaul Keck, MD, has been named president and chief executive officer of the Craig and Frances Lindner Center of Hope.
Keck and Brian Owens, RNC, vice president and chief operating officer, will be responsible for coordinating the design and development of the new center in preparation for its scheduled opening in Mason, Ohio, in 2008.
The new behavioral health center will be jointly operated by The Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati and the Lindner Foundation, and staffed by physicians from the University of Cincinnati (UC) College of Medicine.
Keck, who will remain as professor of psychiatry and neuroscience and executive vice chairman of the department of psychiatry at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, has authored more than 375 scientific papers and received numerous honors. He has been listed as one of the Best Doctors in Cincinnati by Cincinnati Magazine, The Best Doctors in America, a directory of the top 1 percent of physicians in the United States as rated by their peers, and as one of the nation's Best Mental Health Experts by Good Housekeeping Magazine.
Keck is a magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Dartmouth College. He received his medical degree with honors from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York. He served his internship in internal medicine at the Beth Israel Medical Center in New York and completed his residency training in psychiatry at McLean Hospital, Belmont, Mass.
