Hoying, a registered nurse, says she is honored to receive the appointment and reconnect with UC, where she earned her PhD in nursing with a focus on nursing administration research.
UC has a nationally noted nursing program, says Hoying. I look forward to increasing our partnership by building on the joint initiatives that are currently under way, and I especially hope to collaborate more in the area of nursing research in the future.
Says Lindell, In this time of national shortage of nursing faculty, were delighted that Cheryl will be helping us strengthen the clinical pediatric care taught to and practiced by our students so theyre well-prepared to provide exceptional care for children and their families.
