Nominations for Alpha Omega Alpha Due
Nominations are now being accepted for election into Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA), the national honorary medical society. Each year, the college submits nominations for three residents with at least one year of training, two faculty members and two UC alumni with at least 10 years of post-UC experience. Resident nominations must include a medical school transcript, CV and nomination letter from their respective department chair. Faculty nominations must include a CV and a department chair letter. Alumni nominations require a department chair letter. Electees will be recognized at the annual AOA Banquet on Nov. 4, 2011, in the Phoenix Ballroom, downtown Cincinnati.
The Nomination deadline is Thursday Sept. 1, 2011. Information should be submitted to IvaDean Lair, Student Affairs Office, Medical Sciences Building E-251, Mail Location: 0552.
