Disaster Drill at UC Health University Hospital Thursday, Aug. 25

UC Health University Hospital will be staging a disaster drill from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25. Hospital officials stress that the event is only an exercise.

As part of this scenario, there will be a controlled fire set on the helipad as a result of a fictional helicopter crash.

Many different hospital departments will take part. Volunteers will portray patients and will be clearly identifiable in red T-shirts.
