Nominate a Nurse for Nightingale Awards
Do you know a nurse who goes above and beyond the call of duty? If you do, the UC College of Nursing is now accepting nominations for the 20th annual Florence Nightingale Awards for excellence in nursing.
The Nightingale Awards established by former Dean Andrea Lindell in 1992, and continued in her honorrecognize Greater Cincinnati area nurses for outstanding professional performance in direct patient care. Nominations are accepted from physicians, co-workers, patients, family or friends and can be faxed, mailed or submitted online. Nominations must be received by March 2. The nominee need not be a UC Health nurse or a graduate of the UC College of Nursing.
Award winners will be announced at the annual Florence Nightingale Awards banquet April 17.
