Cincinnati ShakeUp for Parkinson's Set for Saturday, April 14
The Cincinnati ShakeUp for Parkinsons, a fundraiser for the Brian Grant Foundation and the James J. and Joan A. Gardner Family Center for Parkinsons Disease and Movement Disorders at the UC Neuroscience Institute, will take place Saturday, April 14, at Xavier Universitys Cintas Center.
The gala evening event, presented by Cintas, features co-hosts Nick Lachey and Brad Johansen, with entertainment by Blessid Union of Souls. Other local and national celebrities will be on hand.
Starting times are 6 p.m. for the sponsor and host VIP reception, 6:30 p.m. for the general reception and 7:30 p.m. for the program and dinner. Benefactor Level is $500 per person, Patron Level is $350 per person and table sponsor levels are $5,000 and $10,000.
Honorary chairs are Joan and Jim Gardner. Event chairs are Linda and Tom Mueller and Peggy and Gary Johns.
Brian Grant is a former Xavier basketball star and 12-year National Basketball Association veteran who was diagnosed with Parkinsons disease in 2008.
