Fibromyalgia Educational Talk May 8

The UC Health Fibromyalgia Treatment Program at the UC Neuroscience Institute will host Lesley Arnold, MD, professor of psychiatry and behavioral neuroscience and director of the Women’s Health Research Program, to discuss fibromyalgia for a public seminar Tuesday, May 8.

 

The free event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Kingsgate Marriott Mt. Echo Room.

At least two weather patterns increase headaches, UC study suggests

University of Cincinnati physicians and collaborators identified two specific weather patterns that increase headache and migraine risk and found the preventive medication fremanezumab (Ajovy) can reduce weather‑associated headaches. The findings will be presented at the American Headache Society Annual Scientific Meeting in Orlando.
