Doctor of Nursing Practice to Graduate First Class of Students
The first eight students to graduate with a doctorate of nursing practice (DNP) from UCs College of Nursing will be hooded Saturday, June 9, 2012.
The DNP program was approved by the Ohio Board of Regents in 2010, with admissions starting in fall 2010. The DNP curriculum is geared toward leadership, quality improvement, education and advanced practice.
UCs DNP graduates will be innovators in their practice settings, having participated in rigorous coursework and completed well-developed, innovative and comprehensive projects to facilitate change, improve care and implement evidence-based practice in an evolving health care environment.
Listed below are the 2012 College of Nursing DNP graduates and their project titles:
