Downey Recognized by Alma Mater
Kathleen Downey, MD, an associate professor in the department of family and community medicine, was honored by her alma mater, Bethany College, at its annual Alumni Awards Dinner, held May 5.
Downey received the colleges 2012 Alumni Achievement Award. After graduating from Bethany College, Downey completed her medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh Medical School before coming to UC for her residency in family medicine.
She is a UC Health primary care physician who sees patients at the Wyoming Family Practice.
