AOA Nominations Deadline Is Wednesday, Aug. 1
The UC College of Medicine chapter of the national medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) is now accepting nominations for induction. Election to the AOA is a lifelong honor signifying a lasting commitment to scholarship, leadership, professionalism and service. Membership in the society confers recognition for a physician's dedication to the profession and art of healing. Since its founding in 1902, more than 150,000 members have been elected to the society, with about 3,000 students, alumni, house staff and faculty elected each year.
