College Recognizes New Faculty

The College of Medicine recognized 113 new faculty members Tuesday, Oct. 9, at a 6 p.m. reception in the CARE/Crawley atrium.

Thomas Boat, MD, College of Medicine dean and vice president for health affairs, opened the reception and each department then introduced new faculty recruited over the past year.

At least two weather patterns increase headaches, UC study suggests

University of Cincinnati physicians and collaborators identified two specific weather patterns that increase headache and migraine risk and found the preventive medication fremanezumab (Ajovy) can reduce weather‑associated headaches.
