Sleep Seminar at West Chester Hospital Dec. 1
UC Health West Chester Hospital will offer a free community seminar focused on sleep disorders, their diagnosis and treatment options from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, in the Plaza Conference Room (Level A), 7700 University Drive.
Victoria Surdulescu, MD, associate professor of clinical medicine, division of pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine, will discuss common sleep disorders, including insomnia, sleep apnea, snoring, narcolepsy and restless leg syndrome. Jeffrey Ushupun, MD, assistant professor of clinical family medicine, will discuss sleep and primary care.

University of Cincinnati physicians and collaborators identified two specific weather patterns that increase headache and migraine risk and found the preventive medication fremanezumab (Ajovy) can reduce weather‑associated headaches. The findings will be presented at the American Headache Society Annual Scientific Meeting in Orlando.
