New Signs Going Up in Medical Sciences Building

New signs are going up in the Medical Sciences Building (MSB), part of an effort to help visitors find their way in areas refurbished as part of the MSB Rehabilitation Project.

Two types of signs are being installed in northeast and northwest quadrants of the MSB, where rehab work has been completed:

• Signs 16 inches wide by 22 inches high give directions to specific areas, such as restrooms, stairs and room series, and include a window at the top for department or division names.

• Signs 9 inches wide by 6 inches high are placed at the hallway intersections and give ranges of room numbers for those hallways.

Signs will be placed in the southeast and southwest quadrants of the MSB when Phase IV work is completed, projected for the end of 2014.

The signs were designed by the Office of Planning + Design + Construction.
