Kushlaf Honored at AANEM Meeting

Hani Kushlaf, MD, an assistant professor of neurology and pathology, received the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM) Junior Member Recognition Award at the annual AANEM meeting in Orlando, Fla., Oct. 4, 2012.

 The award, designed to encourage young physicians to conduct research in neuromuscular and electrodiagnostic medicine, is given to AANEM junior members who are first authors on abstracts presented at the annual meeting.

Kushlaf’s presentations were titled, "Sonographically-measured nerve size and intra-nerve size variability in inflammatory polyneuropathy” and, "Do Ultrasound Characteristics Correlate With Electrodiagnostic Findings in Inflammatory Neuropathies?”
