Doarn Invited to Speak at NATO Science Workshop

Charles Doarn, research professor of family and community medicine, was invited to participate in NATO’s Science for Peace and Security Progamme’s ‘Russia-NATO Advanced Research Workshop – Telemedicine in Crisis Management: Capability Development with Partners,” held March 11-12 in Moscow.

The invitation-only meeting brought representatives from a variety of NATO countries and countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (former Soviet republics) together to discuss how telemedicine could be used effectively in natural and man-made disasters as well as terrorism and global health.
