Doarn Invited to Speak at NATO Science Workshop
Charles Doarn, research professor of family and community medicine, was invited to participate in NATOs Science for Peace and Security Progammes Russia-NATO Advanced Research Workshop Telemedicine in Crisis Management: Capability Development with Partners, held March 11-12 in Moscow.
The invitation-only meeting brought representatives from a variety of NATO countries and countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (former Soviet republics) together to discuss how telemedicine could be used effectively in natural and man-made disasters as well as terrorism and global health.
