Alloway Advised FDA at Public Hearing
On June 21, Rita Alloway, PharmD, research professor in the division of nephrology and hypertension, participated in a Food and Drug Administration public hearing, "Generic Drug User Fee Amendments of 2012 Regulatory Science initiatives: Request for Public Input for FY 2014 Generic Drug Research The Food and Drug Administration.
Alloway represented the American Society of Transplantation to advise the FDA related to future research efforts in generic drug use in transplantation. In addition to reviewing the status of the currently FDA funded U01, she provided specific study recommendations for future studies.
