Registration Open for Research Week Poster Event

UC Health and the University of Cincinnati Academic Health Center are partnering this year for Research Week 2013, Oct. 21-25.  Daily events will highlight the breadth and depth of research on our academic medical campus, and will recognize the many people so important to the research process.

A full calendar of events will be available later in September, but registation is open now for the All-Star Scientific Poster Session, to be held Thursday, Oct. 24, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the CARE/Crawley Atrium.

A "Gallery of Excellence” will display the most impactful and/or award winning posters. Food and drink will be provided.

Posters must have been presented at a regional, national or international meeting in the past 12 months. You may also generate your own poster from an oral session presented in the past 12 months.

The event is limited to 120 posters, so entries will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. To maximize the opportunity for all scientists and researchers on the medical campus, only one submission for each lead author will be considered.

To submit your poster, complete the Research Week Poster Submission form or send the following information to Danielle Cornwall at cornwadm@ucmail.uc.edu:

• Title of poster
• Conference (date/title) at which the work was presented
• Your name and department
• Award/s received for the specified poster/presentation. (Award-winning posters/presentations will be automatically considered for the Gallery of Excellence. If your work has not won an award or special recognition, but you would still like for it to be considered for the Gallery of Excellence, please explain (in 250 words or less) the impact of your work and why it should be considered.
