Hoxworth Hosts 5th Annual Hero2Hero Blood Drive
Hoxworth Blood Center will be hosting the fifth annual Hero2Hero Blood Drive in honor of Veterans Day Monday, Nov. 11, through Wednesday, Nov. 13. Donors will have the opportunity to be a local hero by sending a piece of home to our heroic troops stationed in Afghanistan.
Hero2Hero blood donations can be made at any of Hoxworths eight Neighborhood Donor Centers in the Tristate. For each blood donation collected, Hoxworth will send a holiday-care package loaded with Cincinnati favorites donated by its sponsors: P&G, Skyline Chili, Gold Star Chili, Cincinnati Magazine, Cincinnati Bengals, KIND, LaRosas and Montgomery Inn. Holiday cards will be available for donors to sign and be included in the care packages.
In addition, Hoxworth will once again be partnering with Operation: Thank You, a local organization that supports military troops and their families.
For more information, visit www.hoxworth.org/hero2hero. To schedule an appointment to donate, call 513-451-0910. Walk-ins are welcome.
