UC Health Partners With Enroll America for March 8 Event
CINCINNATIUC Health and Enroll America will hold a large-scale enrollment event Saturday, March 8, to connect patients into health insurance through the new health insurance exchanges.
The event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 8, at the Corryville Recreation Center, 2823 Eden Avenue. During the event, certified enrollment assisters will be on hand to help uninsured consumers choose the health coverage that is right for their family.
As part of its partnership with Enroll America, UC Health has reached out to uninsured patients in Ohio with information on how to register for insurance through the Health Insurance Marketplace or Ohio Medicaid, as well as how to apply for financial assistance to lower the cost of their premiums.
The partnership between UC Health and Enroll America is the first of its kind in Ohio. Saturdays event is part of the final push in March to make sure consumers are aware of the health care options available through the health insurance marketplace. Open enrollment ends on March 31, 2014.
To assist in the enrollment process, consumers should bring:
- Proof of income (recent paystubs or W2)
- Social Security Numbers for everyone applying
- Information about any other health coverage
The event is free, but space is limited. Call 513-585-8020 or email ohio@getcoveredamerica.org for appointments.
