Nobel Laureate Alvin Roth to Speak Sept. 17
Alvin Roth, PhD, co-winner of the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics in 2012 and a founder of the New England Program for Kidney Exchange, will give two presentations Wednesday, Sept. 17, during a visit hosted by the Department of Surgery, Division of Transplantation.
At 9 a.m., during the J. Wesley Alexander Lecture, Surgical Grand Rounds, Surgical Amphitheatre, Roth will present "Application of Market Design Principles for Kidney Exchange."
At 2:30 p.m., in Kresge Auditorium, Roth will present a special lecture for the College of Medicine titled "Design of Markets for the National Residency Matching Program."
