Visiting Professors in Cardiac Surgery Monday, Dec. 8
The Department of Surgery welcomes two visiting professors in cardiac surgery from 8 to 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 8, in the Surgical Amphitheater, UC Medical Center.
Shahab Akhter, MD, University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, will present "Targeting Beta-Arrestin Signaling to Inhibit Maladaptive Ventricular Remodeling. Ashish Shah, MD, Johns Hopkins Medicine, will present "Frailty in Cardiac Surgery: From Risk Assessment to Risk Aversion.
