Service Elevators to Be Closed Periodically March 16 Through April 9
The two service elevators in the Medical Sciences Building, located just south (toward UC Medical Center) of the passenger elevators, are scheduled to be rebuilt and will be closed periodically beginning Monday, March 16, and continuing through Thursday, April 9.
From Monday, March 16, to Monday, March 30, during installation of a new door panel system, they will be turned off between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. Monday through Thursday nights.
From Tuesday, March 31, to Thursday, April 9, during interior rebuilding, one elevator will be turned off between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. Monday through Thursday nights.
Signs will be posted at each level during periods when the service elevators are closed. Passenger elevators will not be affected and will be available for use.
