Essentials of Cancer Survivorship Workshop Being Held Aug. 14-15
This workshop, being held as part of the Midwest Consortium for Cancer Survivorship Education and Research, which involves UC, Indiana University and Ohio State University, will take place Aug. 14 and 15 at the Fawcett Center Alumni Room, 2400 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, Ohio.
The program will focus on the current status of cancer survivorship in the U.S., models of survivorship delivery, components of cancer survivorship care plans and major treatment-related side effects. Participants will be given information regarding the process of implementing and evaluating a cancer survivorship program within cancer centers and other health care settings.
The event is free, but participants must pay for their own lodging. Registration is required.
