Portion of Walkway Leading to Eden Garage Bridge Closed July 31-Aug. 2
Due to repair work scheduled to be performed the weekend of July 31-Aug. 2, a portion of the G Level walkway connector leading from the Medical Sciences Building (MSB) and the MSB Service Building/UC Medical Center to the Eden Garage Bridge will be closed and detours will be necessary in some cases.
Work will begin at 6 p.m. Friday, July 31, 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, and 8 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, with eight-hour shifts each day.
The Eden Garage Bridge will remain open during this work. However, the walkway will be closed by the double doors where it enters the MSB Service Building from the MSB receiving building at Level G. Detour signs will be posted directing pedestrians to the G098B Stairs located near the double doors that lead to the MSB. Using the stairs, pedestrians should descend to E Level and then take the E Level ramp to the walkway. Conversely, pedestrians approaching from the Eden Garage Bridge should use the E Level ramp and then return to G Level via the stairs.
