Stambrook Honored for Lifetime of Achievement in Research
Peter Stambrook, PhD, a professor in the Department of Molecular Genetics, Biochemistry and Microbiology, was honored Monday, Aug. 17, at an event hosted by the College of Medicine Office of Research. College of Medicine Dean William Ball, MD, and Senior Associate Dean for Research Melanie Cushion, PhD, presented him with the Lifetime of Achievement in Research Award.
Stambrook joined the College of Medicine faculty in 1981 and was recently recognized as a UC 2015 Distinguished Research Professor. A reception followed the event.
