Free Seminar on Health and Safety for Older Adults Held Oct. 13
UC Health Trauma Services, Molina Healthcare and People Working Cooperatively are hosting a free health and wellness seminar, "Healthy Lifestyles for Older Adults: A Health and Wellness Seminar for Older Adults and Caregivers," being held from 8:30 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, Oct. 13, at the Drake Center for Post-Acute Care, 151 West Galbraith Road.
Nurses, physical therapists, pharmacists, and other health care professionals from the sponsoring organizations will be available for an interactive seminar to help participants learn more about health and safety.
Seminars include:
- Fall Prevention and Home Safety
- Staying Active, Being Healthy
- Caregiver Coping
- Simple Tips for Eating Healthy on a Budget

Attendees should enter the building through the West Pavilion entrance of the building. Once inside, signs will be posted and volunteers will guide you to the room location of the seminars.
