Free Women's Health Seminar Turns Attention to Aging

UC Health’s West Chester Hospital is offering a free seminar to help women navigate changes to their health as they age. Two sessions will be offered in October.

 

West Chester Hospital physicians will provide information and answer questions about the specific and unique health challenges faced by aging women, including menopause, timing and frequency of health care visits and maintaining a healthy weight.

  

Seminar topics include: 

• Why is menopause so challenging?

• What is "perimenopause” and what are its signs and symptoms?

• Does aging place women at greater risk for developing serious illnesses and conditions?

• What are helpful and innovative tips for maintaining an appropriate weight?
