Bearcats Pep Rally on Medical Campus Set for Wednesday, Oct. 21
Cheer on the University of Cincinnati Bearcats football team at a pep rally at noon Wednesday, Oct. 21, on the steps to the main entrance of the CARE/Crawley Building. Academic Health Center faculty, staff and students and UC Health employees will welcome Head Coach Tommy Tuberville, UC cheerleaders, UC Marching Band members and the Bearcat mascot for the event.
The rally comes just three days before the Bearcats celebrate Homecoming against the University of Connecticut at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at Nippert Stadium. Specially priced tickets to the Homecoming game will be on sale at the pep rally site between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. With the purchase of each $20 ticket, Academic Health Center faculty, staff and students and UC Health employees will receive a Bearcats T-shirt. University of Cincinnati physicians and collaborators identified two specific weather patterns that increase headache and migraine risk and found the preventive medication fremanezumab (Ajovy) can reduce weather‑associated headaches.
