New RFA From the UC Heart, Lung and Vascular Institute
The HLVI 2017 Near Horizons Clinical Research Grant Program is accepting new proposals. This program is dedicated to important clinical problems in the field of cardiovascular or pulmonary medicine. Letters of Intent are due December 9, 2016, and full proposals are due February 17, 2017.
Although a clinical focus in cardiology, vascular or pulmonary medicine is required, this competition is open to all UC faculty, residents, clinical fellows and post-doctoral fellows. The HLVI encourages applications that include interactions between clinicians and population scientists to develop investigations for patients with serious diseases and chronic illnesses. Interdisciplinary collaborations between researchers from other UC colleges and affiliates are encouraged.
