Nominations Being Accepted for Florence Nightingale Awards
The University of Cincinnati (UC) College of Nursing is now accepting nominations for the 25th annual Florence Nightingale Awards for Excellence in Nursing.
The awards recognize registered nurses who demonstrate excellence in providing direct patient care. Nominations are accepted from patients, family and friends of patients, colleagues, physicians and other health care workers. Nurses previously nominated may be re-nominated for this award.
Nominations are due Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017. The final selection of award recipients will be made by a committee of the UC College of Nursing Board of Advisors. The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Jack Casino in downtown Cincinnati.
