UC's Online Graduate Nursing Programs Ranked No. 11
The University of Cincinnati (UC) College of Nursing online graduate programs came in at No. 11 in the U.S. News & World Report 2018 Best Online Programs rankings. The UC College of Nursing is one of only five schools in the region to place in the top 15 in this report.
There are over 800 accredited nursing schools offering a bachelors degree or higher in the United States. The Best Online Programs rankingspulled from surveying distance education programs offered by public, private and for-profit institutionsreflect scores from faculty credentials and training, student engagement, admissions selectivity, peer reputation, and student services and technology.

"Our faculty and staff are dedicated to creating high-quality, engaging learning experiences, accessible to nurse leaders wherever they are.
UCs College of Nursing was one of the first nursing colleges in the country to offer a complete online program in 2005. Today, the college offers a growing number of online specialty masters degrees and certificates through Cincinnati Online, including Nurse Midwifery, Family Nurse Practitioner and Nursing Administration. More than 1,200 students are currently enrolled in the colleges online graduate nursing programs.
"For over 10 years, the UC College of Nursing has been offering quality online graduate programs to a growing number of nurses who want to further their careers, said Denise Gormley, PhD, interim senior associate dean for academic affairs at the College of Nursing. "Three quarters of our graduate program students are online and spread throughout the country, which in itself is a strong testament to the quality of education we provide.
