Lactation Room Open in MSB for Nursing Mothers

A lactation room in the Medical Sciences Building (MSB) is ready for use by nursing mothers to pump breast milk. The room (MSB 1050) will be available for UC staff and students in the colleges of medicine, allied health sciences, pharmacy and nursing.

UC Moves a Step Closer to Engineering Cells Via Foam

The groundbreaking research of Hyo-Jick Choi, UC research assistant professor, was recently featured in the February issue of Nanotechnology. Choi and his colleagues have discovered that ranaspumin-2 foam the foam nests of frogs shows potential as a biochemical reactor. This discovery brings us a step closer to the reproduction of in vitro engineering.
