Scholarship Payments
University of Cincinnati uses Backpack to receive Outside Scholarship payments. Outside scholarships are funded by organizations or individuals other than their parents/guardians. All outside scholarship payments should now be submitted online.

Students who have been given a scholarship check should complete the Scholarship Check Processing Form and mail all related documents to the address below.
- Signature Required: If the check is made out to UC and the student, students must sign the back of the check. Missing signatures will cause significant delays in posting.
- Return of Funds: Once the award is posted to a student's account and funds have been disbursed, donor organizations must work directly with the student for the return of any funds
- Missing or Incomplete Scholarship Check Processing Forms: If we receive a check without a Sholarship Check Processing Form or specific disbursement instructions, we will automatically apply the funds to your account based on the check amount:
- Less than $4,000: Applied entirely to the current semster.
- $4,000 or more: Split evenly between the Fall and Spring semsters.
- Less than $4,000: Applied entirely to the current semster.
