The Golden Award

The Golden Award is a student nominated award recognizing outstanding non-graduating third and fourth year members who represent the very best of the Bearcat Bands. The award has four categories: Spirit Bands, Concert & Jazz Bands, Visual Ensembles, and Percussion. Recipients of the award sign a golden Water Jug, Music Stand, Jazz Shoes, or Drum Head respectively. These are displayed in the band room.
