Kacie Arner, she/her

Will start twirling at UC in 2021.

Ms. Kacie Arner is a first-year student majoring in accounting pursuing a career as a certified public accountant. From Louisville, Ohio, she graduated from Louisville High School where she was the feature twirler in the Pride of Louisville Marching Band. Kacie has been twirling since the age of two and has won multiple state, regional, and national titles. She is a two-time member of Team U.S.A. along with holding the WTA Miss High School Twirler of the year in 2019. Kacie is also a participant in The Miss Ohio’s Outstanding Teen program where she holds the reigning title of Miss Northern Ohio’s Outstanding Teen.

Julia Bergquist, she/her

Has twirled at UC since 2018.

Ms. Julia Bergquist is a third-year student majoring in Nutrition and Dietetics pursuing a career as a Registered Dietitian through the Coordinated Program at the University of Cincinnati. She is from Liberty Township, Ohio. Ms. Bergquist has been a baton twirler for over 16 years and has competed at the international level multiple times as a member of Team USA. She is also involved at the university as a member of Zeta Tau Alpha.

Ms. April Gable is a third-year Communication and Interdisciplinary Studies double major with an Organizational Leadership certificate. Ms. Gable has twirled from the age of five and has had the honor to hold several state, national, and international championship titles including the World Twirling Association's Miss Collegiate Twirler of the Year in 2019 and an Elite Eight Finalist in the 2020 Collegiate Fantastic. Outside of the Bearcat Bands, you can find Ms. Gable serving the UC Bearcats as the 2021-22 Undergraduate Student Body President, ROAR Tour Guide, Resident Advisor, member of the Student Alumni Association, and a sister of Tau Beta Sigma.

Has twirled at UC since 2017.

Ms. Anita Ney is a fourth-year student studying Health Sciences with a focus in Physiological Sciences and a minor in Medical Sciences. Originally from Jackson Township, Ohio, Ms. Ney graduated from Jackson High School where she was a percussionist and Feature Twirler with the Purple Army Marching Band. She has won multiple twirling titles at the state, regional, and national levels. Anita is a three-time College Miss Majorette of Ohio and Ohio State Collegiate Solo Champion. She is a three-time member of Team USA and is a two-time silver medal winner. Recently, Anita won the inaugural Collegiate Fantastic Championship. Outside of school and baton, she works as a contact tracer with the UC COVID Check Response Team.

Lexi Peats, she/her

Will start twirling at UC in 2021.

Ms. Lexi Peats is a first-year studying Engineering in the College of Engineering and Applied Science. She is from Perrysburg, Ohio and has grown up twirling individually and on teams since the age of six. Lexi has won titles at the regional, state, and national levels. She is also apart of Team USA and will compete in Holland in 2022.
