Tau Beta Sigma 2021-22
Ms. Erica Horschler is entering her fourth year at the University of Cincinnati and is majoring in Civil Engineering with a certificate in Professional Communication. Ms. Horschler is a 2018 graduate of Medina High School in Medina, Ohio where she played the clarinet for all 4 years and was a drum major for 2 years. She has played the clarinet for the Bearcat Bands for 3 years and served as Drum Major during her second year. Erica is also a sister of the Theta Chapter of Tau Beta Sigma and served as the chapter Historian for 2020-21. In the Fall of 2020, she also became a member of Chi Epsilon, the Civil Engineering Honor Society here on campus. Outside of band and school Erica enjoys reading, photography, listening to true crime podcasts, and exploring the hidden gems of Cincinnati.
Mr. Colin E. Ohr is entering his fifth year studying Biomedical Engineering. He hails from Mechanicsburg, Ohio and is a graduate of Mechanicsburg High School. Colin plays alto saxophone in the Bearcat Bands and is a sister of Tau Beta Sigma. Outside of band, Colin enjoys reading, embroidering, cooking, and playing a variety of card and board games.
Mr. Noah Bartolovich is a third-year studying Political Science and Journalism. He is originally from Twinsburg, Ohio and is a graduate of Twinsburg High School. Noah plays the tenor saxophone in the Bearcat Bands and is a sister of Tau Beta Sigma. Outside of band, he is a brother of both Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia and Pi Lambda Phi fraternities. He is also a member of the History Club.
Mr. Jimi Hackney is a fifth-year student at the University of Cincinnati originally from the Cleveland area. He is pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as a master’s degree in Business Administration. He is in the trombone section in the UC Bearcat Bands of which he has participated in the marching and jazz bands. Outside of band, he is a member of UC’s chapter of Pi Tau Sigma, a mechanical engineering honor society.
Mr. Will Tuttle is a fourth-year History major with certificates in Historical Preservation and European Studies. He a proud member of the Trombone section and plays Bass trombone in concert band. Mr. Tuttle is currently the Historian of the Theta Chapter of Tau Beta Sigma and an avid member of the Band History committee. Will is from West Chester, Ohio and a graduate of Lakota West High School. He enjoys long walks on the beach, a nice dinner prepared on his cast iron pans, and is always up for a trip to the Zoo.
