Steger Student Life Center (SSLC)

Located in the heart of campus, Steger Student Life Center (SSLC) is a hub for student activities, engagement opportunities, and support services. It opened in 2004 (Buzz Yudell and Glaserworks, architects), and is approximately 40 feet wide by 500 feet long.

SSLC is home to multiple student lounges for studying and connecting with peers:

  • Student Wellness Center
  • Commuter Student Lounge
  • C.A.T.S. Lounge
  • Bearcats Den

In addition various Division of Student Affairs offices within SSLC provide engagement opportunities and support services including the Dean of Students Office, Center for Student Involvement, Student Conduct & Community Standards, the Student Wellness Center, Parent & Family Programs, Darwin T. Turner Scholars, Undergraduate and Graduate Student Government offices, and a Confidential Campus Advocate. 

SSLC also houses a Subway restaurant and the DAAP Meyers Gallery.
