African American Cultural and Resource Center

  • The Center serves as a resource for enlightenment about the Black experience, fosters an atmosphere where lively conversation is welcomed and encouraged, leadership development and academic success are prioritized, and quiet study spaces are regularly utilized.

Bearcats Support Network

  • Bearcats Support Network empowers students to create an inclusive community and support each other’s identity, mental well-being, and day-to-day lives through peer-facilitated groups and bi-weekly community events.

Counseling and Psychological Services

  • CAPS prioritizes accessible and effective services that you can access when you need them. Counseling and Psychological Services take a collaborative, strengths-based approach to help you identify tools, resources, and strategies to meet your mental health goals.

Ethnic Programs and Services

  • The Office of Ethnic Programs and Services encourages academic excellence, positive social interaction, cultural enrichment, student leadership development and community service. EPS values every contact with members of the university community and sees every interaction as an opportunity to encourage positive relationships.

Health, Fitness, and Lifestyle Courses

  • Through our diverse array of Health, Fitness, and Lifestyle (HFL) courses, students can participate in several courses focused on improving their health, fitness levels, and skillsets related to their personal life and well-being. Our HFL courses are taught by qualified instructors and are open to students in all majors. LQBTQ Center

  • The Center is an inclusive campus community that welcomes people of all sexual orientations and gender identities and provides support, resources, and advocacy. The Center facilitates LGBTQ visibility by promoting and enhancing understanding, acceptance, and awareness regarding LGBTQ issues.

Sky@UC

  • SKY@UC learns and teaches a special breathing technique called SKY. Studies have shown that practicing SKY breath meditation has shown significant improvements in six areas of well-being: depression, stress, mental health, mindfulness, positive affect, and social connectedness.

Student Government

  • Student Government is passionate about helping and representing students. Student Government advocates for all of the undergraduate students at UC, and strives to empower them by providing programming, funding, and forums. 

Student Wellness Center  

  • The Student Wellness Center empowers students to make informed decisions regarding their health and wellness by providing evidence-based education, inclusive resources, and non-judgmental support.

Bearcats Recovery Community

  • The Bearcats Recovery Community is a program designed to support UC students in or seeking recovery from alcohol, drugs, and other addictions. The BRC and its programs allow students to have an authentic college experience at UC while maintaining their recovery. 

University Health Services

  • University Health Services is an outpatient facility offering comprehensive clinical services to the student population. All students enrolled at the university are eligible to use University Health Services.

Undergraduate Public Health Program

  • The University of Cincinnati’s (UC) interdisciplinary Bachelor of Science in Public Health pulls expertise from our renowned faculty representing a range of public health and social science colleges to provide innovative curricula that focus on key aspects of preventing disease, prolonging life, and promoting health.   • The UC Women's Center is committed to the personal and professional growth of women and gender non-conforming students by facilitating action toward intersectional gender equity, promoting social justice, and fostering connections for all students.

 

Be Well UC

  • Be Well UC is the university’s employee wellness program with a mission to educate, support and empower faculty and staff to make healthy lifestyle choices while building a culture of well-being for our university and community.

Impact Solutions

  • Impact Solutions, UC's employee assistance plan provider, offers a variety of support to all UC benefits-eligible employees and their household members, dependents living away from home, and both parents and in-laws are eligible to receive assistance.

  • The UC Staff Success Center provides individuals with numerous options to develop their skills, knowledge, and abilities to both support their goals and the goals of the university. SSC offers comprehensive professional development workshops, software training for University of Cincinnati applications, and much more.

Center for Integrative Health and Wellness

  • The Osher Center for Integrative Health promotes integrative medicine principles at the UC Academic Health Center and throughout the community. Tobacco Free UC

  • Tobacco Free UC is the initiative to support this board rule and empower the UC community to make informed decisions about their health and well-being. 

UCPD

  • UCPD works closely with the Cincinnati Police Department to prevent crime within and around the campus community. The UCPD Crime Analyst utilizes real-time data to proactively develop strategies to keep our campus and community safe

UC International

  • International Services supports UC’s global students, scholars, and staff. International Services advocates for you and work every day to meet your needs, from immigration advising to social interaction. 

1N5

  • The mission of 1N5 is to prevent suicide by erasing the stigma of mental illness and promoting optimal mental wellness. 1N5 achieves this mission through education and stigma reduction, community engagement, policy and advocacy, and measurement and data work.

Center for Closing the Health Gap

  • Our work is based on the principle that the people most affected by health disparities must lead the movement. They create their own solutions and monitor their progress. The Health Gap’s Grassroots Mobilization Model engages, advocates, and empowers community movements. 

Linder Center for Hope  

  • Since 2008, Lindner Center of HOPE has served as a lifeline to tens of thousands who’ve faced the struggle of mental illness or addiction. Offering a wide range of mental health services and treatments in an atmosphere that promotes long-term healing, we are staffed by some of the nation’s best psychiatric experts. Lindner Center of HOPE is a place entirely dedicated to hope – and finding your unique path forward.

Mental Health America of Northern Kentucky and South-West Ohio

  • Mental Health America of Northern Kentucky and Southwest Ohio is dedicated to promoting mental health and working to prevent mental and substance use disorders through education, advocacy, and service. We provide safety net services, community, and professional education, and we're the regional experts in Certified Peer Support.

MindPeace

  • MindPeace works together with community partners to continue the development and implementation of a seamless system of mental health support for children and adolescents, with a focus on school-based, stakeholder-selected partnerships.

NAMI South West Ohio

  • NAMI Southwest Ohio provides advocacy, education, support and public awareness so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build better lives.

Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation

  • The Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation is a non-profit organization whose work includes reducing the stigma of suicide, promoting evidence-based prevention strategies, and raising awareness about suicide’s relationship to mental illness, alcohol, drug abuse, and other issues.

Talbert House

  • Talbert House is empowering children, adults, and families to live healthy, safe and productive lives. The agency's network of services focuses on prevention, assessment, treatment, and reintegration. Services are provided at multiple sites throughout Southwest Ohio
