UC Police patrol on campus and collaborate with Cincinnati Police to cover neighborhoods surrounding UC's main campus. UCPD also serves UC's Blue Ash and Clermont campuses.
Citizen Survey of Attitudes
As part of our IACLEA accreditation process, the Public Safety Department conducts a comprehensive Citizen Survey of Attitudes every four years. This survey is designed to capture community feedback in key areas, including overall agency performance, the competence and professionalism of personnel, public perceptions of employee attitudes and behavior, concerns related to safety and security within our service area, and suggestions for improvement. These insights are critical to our ongoing efforts to enhance service delivery and strengthen community trust.
A survey was conducted in 2022, and the next survey will be conducted in 2026. To maintain benchmarking consistency, we will include the same core questions from 2022. However, we will assess the need to include additional questions that reflect broader departmental priorities when the next survey is conducted. This approach will allow us to capture more targeted community input to inform future planning and decision-making.
