UC Foundation recognized with two CASE awards
Annual report and video receive accolades
The University of Cincinnati Foundation’s Communications team received two awards in the 2018 Pride of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District V awards program. UCF received a gold award for Best Annual Report for “Rise to Shine,” UCF’s annual report for Fiscal Year 2017. It also received a silver award for in the Best Video Feature (Long) category for “Vonne Bingham: The Impact of Scholarships.”
Each year, UCF reports out on the money raised during the previous fiscal year through its annual report. The theme and impact stories from “Rise to Shine” centered on the daily difference philanthropy makes by reflecting on 24 hours of excellence at UC and UC Health.
“Vonne Bingham: The Impact of Scholarships” was created for the Foundation’s annual George Rieveschl Recognition Dinner, a stewardship event honoring UC and UC Health donors. The video follows the journey of Bingham, a UC student whose life was changed by a scholarship.
CASE V annually recognizes excellence in the district, which includes member institutions from Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin. The Pride of CASE V Awards showcase best practices in alumni relations, fundraising, advancement services, special events and outstanding communications.
