WVXU: Local doctor founds Village Life Outreach project
Christopher Lewis, MD, UC vice provost for academic programs, associate professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine and Office of Diversity and Inclusion at the UC College of Medicine, founded the nonprofit Village Life Outreach Project. The group partners with villages, implementing sustainable projects to fight poverty and improve health and educational outcomes. Lewis, along with Stewart Wright, MD, associate professor in the UC Department of Emergency Medicine, and UC environmental engineering student Grace Aldredge, spoke about the project on WVXU.
