Hoxworth Blood Center is calling for Bearcat Nation to roll up a sleeve and save a life!
Hoxworth Blood Center is asking for University of Cincinnati students, faculty and staff to come together to replenish low blood supplies during the all-campus blood drive scheduled for April 15 – 19. All donors will receive a complimentary box of Girl Scout cookies as a thank you. Additionally students can earn 2 Community Service Hours for their whole blood donation and 4 hours for their platelet donation.
“We typically see a dip in blood donations during the winter months due to weather and illness,” says Alecia Lipton, Hoxworth spokesperson. “This year we are hoping that the UC community will come out and help us save lives during the all-campus blood drive in exchange for delicious Girl Scout cookies!”
