UC Parking Services adopts new rates

To sustain current and future capital improvement plans, Parking Services will increase monthly parking rates effective Monday, July 1, and student semester rates effective for fall

To sustain current and future capital improvement plans, the University of Cincinnati's Parking Services will increase monthly parking rates starting July 1.

Depending on the parking facility, monthly increases will range from $2 to $3 per month.

Rate Increases
Over the past 10 years, Parking Services has maintained a 2 percent average annual increase, while the industry average is 3 percent. The rate increase will allow Parking Services to maintain a capital fund to meet structural repair needs of aging facilities and provide essential customer service through advancement in technologies.

New Monthly Rates, Effective Aug. 1:

  • $113     CCM, Varsity Village, McMicken Drive, AA (currently $111)
  • $99       Clifton Court, Calhoun, Kingsgate, Zone A (currently $97)
  • $86.50  Woodside, Campus Green, Eden, Stratford (currently $84)
  • $60.50  University Avenue, Corry (currently $57.50)
  • $51       Lot 16, Lot 22, 1819 Innovation Hub, GRI (currently $48)
  • $30       Central Receiving (currently $37)

Motorcycle Parking will increase to $51 per semester (currently $48).

For those who renew online, or in the office on a monthly basis, we are able to pro-rate the fee two times monthly; the dates of pro-ration are the 15th and 25th of each month.

Using Calhoun Garage as an example:

  • Permit renewed Aug. 1 - Aug. 14, cost will be $99
  • Permit renewed Aug. 15 - Aug. 24, cost will be $49.50
  • Permit renewed Aug. 25 - end of month, cost will be $24.75

Student parking rates are effective for fall semester permits, and increases range from $0.50 to $14, depending upon the parking facility.
