How a Communiversity class changed a woman's life
One finance course at Communiversity inspired her to pursue a new career in financial planning
Communiversity celebrated its 70th Anniversary this month at the Victory Parkway campus with live music, culinary bites, and presentations by several instructors.
One instructor shared her story of how a single Communiversity class changed her whole career perspective. Twenty-one years ago, Glynnis Reinhart enrolled in a finance course at Communiversity that inspired her to pursue a career in financial planning for women.
It was the greatest class. I felt so motivated, so empowered. That class that I took changed my whole direction, and I’ve been doing financial advising for the last 19 years.
Glynnis Reinhart
Other special guest instructors and activities included: performances by Native American flutist John DeBoer, a live demonstration of portrait painting with artist Kevin McCarty, an overview of gallery classes at the Cincinnati Art Museum from art historian Kathleen Stockman and an intriguing dive into the world of crime cases by local author J.T. Townsend, to name a few.
To continue the celebration of its 70th anniversary, Communiversity is extending a 15% discount toward any additional class this fall! There is plenty of time to register, as new classes are beginning weekly. Apply promo code OPENHOUSE at checkout (good through Sept. 30).
