March Roundtable addresses technology’s impact on real estate
How technology will affect local transportation, real estate professionals, and future home buyers
Editor's note: The event described below has been cancelled. Please plan accordingly.
Come explore the future technology wave by attending the upcoming UC Real Estate March Roundtable event on Friday, March 13, at the Cooper Creek Event Center. Check-in and networking will begin at 7:30 a.m., followed by a breakfast buffet and presentations at 8-9 a.m. Registration is required for all attendees at least 3 days prior to the event, as seating is limited.
Featured speakers of the program will provide the latest developments in technology specifically affecting both the Greater Cincinnati area and nationally. As technology is ever-changing, gaining an awareness of how technology may influence both the commercial and residential real estate industries is crucial.
Mark Policinski, CEO of the Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Council of Governments, will address how technology will impact society. “The technological revolution in mobility is here,” Policinski says. “This upheaval will transform our very concept of time and travel. Cars will be computers that drive us. Traffic lights and gas-powered engines will be found only in museums. The places where we live and work will be altered forever.”
T.G. Gallaudet, Senior Director of Broker Relations for Zillow Group, will speak to how far we have come and where will still need to go, regarding technological advances in real estate. T.G. will provide insight on how Zillow is changing the way people buy and sell homes. Zillow’s key driver for innovation stems from listening to their customers' needs for the right information through technology and services.
The program will be followed by a brief question-and-answer session with both presenters.
