UC joins friendly competition with Ohio schools to see who can get the most steps, April 27 - May 1
Forget the crosstown shootout. University of Cincinnati Bearcats have a new compeition on the horizon.
Xavier University has challenged all universities across Ohio to a step-challenge.
The five-day competition runs Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 1.
To participate, just get out and get some exercise. At the end of the day, send a photo of the number of steps you took that day to Campus Recreation. You can use a step-tracker like a FitBit or an app on your phone.
You can either post your steps to our social media account, direct message us, or email your daily steps to campusrec@uc.edu.
Anyone associated with the university can participate. The winner will be based off the average number of steps per participants from each school.
More information will be coming soon on social media. Follow @UCCampusRec on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook for more information and to participate. Follow along and track our progress each day.
Questions? Send an email to campusrec@uc.edu. Don't forget to check out Campus Rec's online fitness program.
Get out, enjoy the warmer weather, and show your Bearcat pride!
