New sites launched on Bearcats Landing

Fresh content and resources to faculty/staff intranet

Bearcats Landing, UC’s faculty/staff intranet, launched its newest set of sites on Thursday, April 30. Participant groups worked diligently this past spring semester to gather information and build out sites that will be critical to boosting internal communications efforts as well as provide workplace tools and resources.

“Congratulations to the spring semester cohort on launching their sites on Bearcats Landing,” commends Provost Kristi Nelson. “Your continued efforts will aid in developing a robust internal network for faculty and staff to connect and access news, events, tools, and resources.”

This cohort includes Bearcats Landing’s first college sites, valuable faculty resources from Academic Affairs, and leadership information. Visitors to these sites will find freshly updated information and resources regarding teaching and learning, co-ops and internships, curriculum tools and much more.

“I’m excited to continue using our site to provide much-needed transparency and information to the UC community,” remarks Sherry English, director of college relations for College of Law and a participant in the spring semester site build.

“Our Bearcats Landing site is an excellent resource for Law’s faculty and staff and a great way to communicate with UC. We look forward to building it out even more.”

In addition to sites, areas will populate news and events relevant to their areas and the university.

“I can see our news and events area being crucial to letting everyone know about what's going on in our program,” says Courtney Amicon, program coordinator for the Learning Commons and spring semester site build participant.
