UC information technology students recognized for achievement in cooperative education
Each spring, the University of Cincinnati's Division of Experience-Based Learning and Career Education honors students in experiential learning programs.
The following students have demonstrated outstanding achievement in cooperative education in the School of Information Technology (IT) in the College of Education, Criminal Justice and Human Services. Their stories help to illustrate why the University of Cincinnati is the top public university for co-ops and internships.
Spencer Pelton, Information Technology
Ashland, Ohio, native Spencer Pelton completed three co-op terms at Blizzard Entertainment, a large video game developer and publisher in Irvine, Calif. After graduation, he’ll work full-time at Blizzard as a game producer/program manager on Overwatch, World of WarCraft: Battle of Azurah, and WarCraft: Reforged. As a student, Spencer mentored fellow IT students, developed a useful application to help students in the job search, and presented at a “World of Gaming” information session.
